A map pin can't tell you whether a "dog park" is a true enclosed run or just an open field with a leash-law sign — the label alone doesn't separate them. Every park marked fenced here was confirmed enclosed from the park department's own site plan, aerial imagery, or posted signage, not the listing name. Use the double gate, even if it looks unnecessary. Most municipal fenced parks have an airlock-style double-gate entry built to stop a dog bolting the instant you come in — clip and unclip inside it, not at the outer gate. Many parks also split a small-dog area from the big-dog side with a second interior fence, so check the signage before letting a puppy loose on the wrong side.
